Pittsville wrestlers compete in Central Wisconsin conference meet

MARSHFIELD – On Feb. 8, The Central Wisconsin Conference held their conference meet at Almond-Bancroft High School.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood finished first in the conference, followed by Bonduel, Manawa, Shiocton, Weyauwega-Fremont, Amherst, Rosholt, Pittsville, Menominee Indian, Almond-Bancroft/Pacelli, and Tri-County.

Results for Pittsville wrestlers: Pete Esser (106) had the best finish for Pittsville at second; Dryden Luther (113) finished in fourth; Easton Dammann (120) placed sixth; Torrence Dankemeyer (126) did not place; Camron Dammann (132) finished in third; Hunter McDaniel (138) did not place; Evan Dammann (145) placed third; Avery Myers (152) finished in fourth; Jon Klamrowski (170) placed sixth; Wyatt Landphier (285) finished fifth.

The Panther wrestlers will participate in the WIAA Regionals held at Auburndale High School on Feb. 15.
