Stratford remains at top of conference

MARSHFIELD – The Stratford boys basketball team traveled to Marathon High School on Feb. 4 to take on the Red Raiders for a Marawood conference game. Stratford won the game 63-49 to keep them undefeated and at the top of the conference.

Vaughn Breit scored 21 points for the Tigers and had 11 rebounds. Chandler Schmidt added 18 points and eight rebounds, and Dawson Danen scored 10 points.

Marathon was led by Matt Vande Boom, scoring 17 points for his team.

Stratford’s overall record moved to 16-0 and 11-0 in the conference. Marathon was 5-9 overall, 5-7 in conference.
