Pittsville too much for Pacelli

PITTSVILLE – The Pacelli Cardinals boys basketball team traveled to Pittsville on Jan. 31 for a Central Wisconsin Conference game where Pittsille proved to be too much for Pacelli.

The Panthers had the lead at the half, 27-20, and went on to win the game 55-37.

Mason Schlagenhaft and Elliot Parks, of Pacelli, each scored eight points to lead the Cardinals.

Weston Peplinski pulled down 10 rebounds.

Leading the Panthers was Matthew Kissner, who had 24 points and 13 rebounds.

Pacelli will next face Iola-Scandinavia at home on Feb. 4. and travel to Wausau Newman for a game on Feb. 6.

Pittsville next game is at home against Bowler on Feb 4. The Panthers will travel to Almond-Bancroft on Feb. 7.
