Stratford wrestling gets win after eight Marathon forfeits

MARSHFIELD – Stratford wrestling headed to Marathon on Jan. 23 for a Marawood South Conference meet and got the win after Marathon gave up eight forfeits.

“We will take this win and get ready for our final dual of the season next Thursday (Jan. 30) against Edgar,” said Stratford Head Coach Joe Schwabe. “After that is the conference tourney up in Park Falls where we hope to get a few into the finals.”

The Tigers won 76-6.
