MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Hockey traveled to Waupaca on Jan. 21 and got another solid win.
Marshfield won the game 6-1.
Scoring for the Tigers in the first period was Sawyer Schindler, assisted by Max Heller. Four goals were scored in the second period by Nick Urban, Tristian Reissmann, Noah Peterson, and Schindler. The last goal for the Tigers was scored in the third period by Adam Zee.
AJ Trierweiler had 19 saves on the night, allowing only one goal for Waupaca.
“Our Power Play finally put up multiple goals, which was good to see. We have been generating chances but have not been able to finish,” said Head Coach Eric Bowman. “Tonight we finished. We need to improve our special teams if we want to make any kind of a run in the post-season, so seeing our special teams playing well tonight was a plus for our group.”
Next chance to see the Tigers in action is Jan. 23 at home.
