Pittsville wrestling defeats Menominee Indian 43-30

PITTSVILLE – On Jan. 9, the Pittsville Panther wrestling team traveled to Menominee Indian High School, just north of Shawano, to take on the Menominee squad.
Pittsville won seven of the nine weights wrestled and added a forfeit in defeating Menominee. The meet started at 126, with Landon Losievski scoring a first period pin. The Panthers won the first five matches with three pins and two decisions to jump out to a 25-0 lead.
Menominee got on the board with a forfeit win at 160, but Jon Klamrowski moved up to 182 from his normal weight, and scored a 29 second pin to add to the Panther lead.
Pittsville added a forfeit win at 106, and yet another first period pin by Peter Esser at 113 to lock up the victory.
