Strange activity
On Jan. 10 at 8:28 a.m. a Marshfield male reported that he had discovered an unfamiliar suitcase with various items in it in the backyard of his East 11th Street residence. The male reported hearing a disturbance the previous night among his neighbors. Upon contact, the neighbor, a 30-year-old male, stated that he had gotten into an argument with his father, who had left.
January 12, 2020
Deceased discovered
On Jan. 12 at 11:30 a.m. a male reported discovering a deceased female in her West Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, apartment. The Wood County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene and the body was removed by the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home.
Vandalism
On Jan. 12 at 5 p.m., a Marshfield female reported that an unknown party had drawn several vulgar images and phrases in green paint on the garage doors of her South Apple Avenue residence. In addition, they had also thrown eggs at the house. The paint was easily washed off. No suspects were identified.
