Plans for new Marshfield Kwik Trip moving forward

MARSHFIELD — Plans for a new Kwik Trip location on Marshfield’s busy north side are moving forward, and Public Works Director Dan Knoeck says a “development agreement” for the project was approved by the city’s board of public works on Jan. 6.
According to Knoeck, “This site is being proposed for a Kwik Trip convenience store, gas station, and car wash I believe as well. And the developer Kwik Trip is asking the city to consider taking over some storm sewer that they would build as part of this site development.”
The new Kwik Trip would be the third location for the convenience store chain in Marshfield and is being planned for North Central Avenue, near Walmart and Menards.
The plan still needs to receive final approval from the full common council.
