Alcohol theft
On Jan. 4 at 1:52 p.m. an employee of an Arpin convenience store reported that a 24-year-old Unity female had entered, concealed a bottle of vodka, and walked out without paying. The female attempted to hide in the trunk of her vehicle but was found by police and transported to the Marathon County Jail.

Strange behavior
On Jan. 1 at 12:30 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that while her 13-year-old daughter had been ice skating at an outdoor rink in Marshfield, an unknown male had walked out onto the ice and was looking around. The male was wearing a black hat and a black jacket that was zipped all the way up and covered his mouth.
Disturbance
On Jan. 1 at 11:46 p.m. a Marshfield male reported that he could see and hear his two neighbors, a 38-year-old female and a 32-year-old male, yelling loudly at each other in the driveway of their West Cleveland Street residence. Contact was made with the male, who stated that his girlfriend was mad at him for not taking her to the hospital when she was sick.
