Marshfield gymnastics wins Tomah Invitational

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield High School gymnastics team continued its strong start to the season, as it won the Tomah Invitational on Dec. 21.

The Tigers finished with a total of 132.75 to edge Sparta (132.425) for the Invitational Title, followed by Antigo (126.825) and Chippewa Falls (116.775) at the eight-team meet.

Gracie Holland won the uneven bars (9.175), Hanna Merkel was third in the uneven bars (8.225), Ellie Jensen was third in the balance beam (8.525), Alexis Mushel placed third in the floor exercise (8.8), and Merkel took fifth in the All-Around competition to lead the Tigers.
