Marshfield girls basketball holds off Merrill

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield High School girls basketball team held on in the second half to beat Merrill in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game at home on Dec. 20.

The Tigers took a 33-26 lead into halftime and were outscored 15-13 in the second half, but went on to close out a 46-41 victory.

Maddie Michaelis knocked down four three-pointers and finished with 16 points and five rebounds, and Kaydee Johnson had 11 points and six rebounds to lead the way.
