Second-half surge lifts Loyal past Colby

MARSHFIELD – The Colby High School girls basketball team was unable to hold off a second-half charge from Loyal, as it fell 57-52 at home on Dec. 13.
The Hornets went into halftime with a 32-23 lead, but Loyal used a 34-20 advantage in the second half to rally for the win.
Emma Peavey finished with 17 points and four assists, Lexi Underwood had 13 points and four steals, and Hailey Voelker scored 12 points to lead Colby.
