Car troubles
On Dec. 4 at 4:28 p.m. a Marshfield male reported that a 31-year-old male who had offered to fix the timing belt on his vehicle was not returning any of his calls and was still in possession of his vehicle. The complainant stated that a fire had happened at the residence of the 31-year-old male which resulted in the vehicle not being fixed. The man stated that after this, the 31-year-old stopped answering the complainant’s texts and phone calls.
December 5, 2019
Fraud
On Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. a Marshfield male reported that his identity had been stolen and used to open a credit card. The complainant stated that the credit card was then used to purchase $3,347.61 worth of merchandise.
December 6, 2019
Theft
On Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. an employee of a Marshfield supermarket reported that a 41-year-old Marshfield female had left the store without paying for $97.46 worth of merchandise. The woman was apprehended, booked, and released after posting bond.
December 8, 2019
Stolen tricycle
On Dec. 8 at 1:25 p.m. a Marshfield male reported that his tricycle had been stolen from behind his East 14th Street residence. The male stated that the tricycle was red and had American flags on the handle bars and baskets on the front and rear.
