Stolen mail
On Dec. 4 at 7:11 p.m. a Saratoga female reported that someone had taken the mail out of the mailbox of her Ten Mile Avenue residence. The female reported seeing a darkly colored older van around 3:30 p.m. prowling around the neighborhood.
December 6, 2019
Abandoned cat
On Dec. 6 at 9:54 p.m. a male reportedly witnessed a male and a female inside of a tan Toyota Camry throw a cat outside the window of the vehicle on North 48th Street in Grand Rapids before taking off.
December 7, 2019
Strange behavior
On Dec. 7 at 9:13 a.m. an anonymous individual reported that a male in blue jeans and a jacket had gotten out of a white Chevy Blazer parked on Lundberg Road in Sigel. The man reportedly took off into the woods near the road with a crossbow in hand.
December 8, 2019
Death threats
On Dec. 8 at 11:01 a.m. it was reported that a male had threatened to kill his son and soon-to-be ex-wife who had served him with a restraining order. It was stated that the man was in possession of a handgun.
December 9, 2019
Theft and pawn
On Dec. 9 at 11:40 a.m. a Port Edwards female reported that a saw, a trailer hitch, an electric hedge trimmer, and a pair of earrings had been stolen from her Lavigne Avenue residence and pawned at a pawn shop.
