Marshfield loses conference showdown at SPASH

STEVENS POINT – The Marshfield High School girls basketball team fell behind early and was unable to come back, as it lost to Stevens Point Area Senior High School (SPASH) at the SPASH Fieldhouse on Dec. 10.
SPASH got out to a double-digit lead early and took a 39-17 lead into halftime, and outscored Marshfield 39-25 in the second half to win 78-42.
Maddie Michaels knocked down six three-pointers and finished with 22 points, Kadee Johnson had eight points, and Loryn Jakobi added seven points to lead the Tigers.
