Auburndale boys basketball rolls past Abbotsford

AUBURNDALE – The Auburndale High School boys basketball team got out to a 27-point lead in the first half, on the way to a win at home on Dec. 6.

Auburndale went into halftime with a 35-8 lead, and outscored Abbotsford 46-16 in the second half to roll to an 81-24 win.

Cooper Weinfurter shot 9-of-11 from the field and 4-of-6 on three-pointers to lead Auburndale, as he finished with 23 points and eight assists; Hunter Wright shot 8-of-9 from the field and totaled 17 points, four assists and six steals; and Kaden Hoffman had 11 points and four rebounds.

Blake Draper scored seven points and Mason Carpenter had six points to lead Abbotsford.
