Columbus Catholic Schools offers Hidden in Plain Sight display
For Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD – On Nov. 13, 3-7 p.m., Columbus Catholic Schools (CCS) invites the public to “take a tour” through a typical teenager’s bedroom to see if you can identify the signs of substance abuse and learn how to start a meaningful conversation with youth.
The “Hidden in Plain Sight” display is a program through the Wood County Drug Task Force. The display will be available during CCS’s parent/teacher conferences at Columbus Catholic High School, 710 S. Columbus Ave., Marshfield. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
“We are excited to offer the display for parents and the community,” said Dean of Students at Columbus Catholic Schools Lori Wieland. “Our hope in having this is to remind everyone working with youth, that the goal of AODA education is not just prevention but also awareness.”
