MARSHFIELD – Alpine Holiday 2019 will be held Nov. 8-9. In its 40th year, Alpine Holiday will feature a Friday fish fry, craft boutique, the “Ugly Sweater Run,” kids games, live performances, among other events.

Alpine Holiday started in 1979 as a “Ski Swap Fundraiser.”  Columbus students created the event to help a favorite teacher whose job was potentially going to be eliminated.  The event also featured a ski trip as a grand prize.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary, the Ski Swap will return.  The Columbus class of 1979 will also spend a portion of their 40th Class Reunion at Alpine Holiday on Friday.

Friday will also include the Friday Fish Fry, the craft boutique, the Ski Swap and a Ryan McIntyre performance and Dueling Piano show.

On Saturday, the day starts with the Ugly Sweater Run, a pancake breakfast, and performances by·   Reis Martial Arts Academy, Main Street Conservatory of Dance, James David Magic, James David – Book Talk, Columbus Jazz Band and Choir, Columbus Student Lip Sync Battle, Governor Grizzly, and Doozey.

A full schedule of events can be found at www.columbuscatholicschools.org .
