MARSHFIELD – Due to safety concerns, West Fifth Street from Oak Avenue to Schmidt Avenue will be closed to traffic on Halloween, Oct. 31, 4:30-8 p.m.

The following streets will be closed at Fifth Street: Hardacre Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue, Adams Avenue, Drake Avenue, and Columbus Avenue.

Due to the number of children who trick-or-treat in this area, we anticipate that the side streets noted will be difficult to park on and alternate side parking on ditched streets will be enforced.  Please note, no parking will be allowed on W. Fifth Street within the road closure limits.

The city recommends that patrons use the parking lots at SJ Miller Park and Our Lady of Peace.

Marshfield’s trick-or-treat hours are Oct. 31, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

For more information, contact the Marshfield Engineering Division at 715-486 -2034.
