Columbus celebrates 2019 Homecoming

MARSHFIELD – Columbus Catholic High School’s homecoming dance was held on Oct. 19. This year’s reigning senior couple was 2019 Homecoming King, Jonah Keffer, son of Dennis and Michelle Keffer, escorting 2019 Homecoming Queen, Ryleigh McGiveron, daughter of Dan and Kelly McGiveron.
Other senior representatives were Master of Ceremonies Carter Casperson, son of Cody and Stacy Casperson, escorting Mistress of Ceremonies, Holly Dean, daughter of Andy and Sara Dean; Ted Conley, son of Joe and Kathy Conley, escorting Addison Baierl, daughter of Alan and Laurie Baierl; and Tom Nystrom, son of Jim and Judy Nystrom, escorting Rebecca Walter, daughter of Allan and Connie Walter.
Junior class representatives were Ayden Hauke, son of Travis Hauke and Laura Dassow-Larson, escorting Sydney Mauritz, daughter of Josh and Krisann Mauritz. Representing the sophomore class were Aiden Casperson, son of Cody and Stacy Casperson escorting Niah Jakel, daughter of Justin and Michele Van Meter. Freshman Class representatives were Sheamus Hoglund, son of Erik and Krista Hoglund escorting Lizzy Gruenloh, daughter of Aaron and Deb Gruenloh.
Columbus celebrated Homecoming 2019 with many festivities and raised $2,661 for “Feed My Starving Children” through a bucket-filling challenge.
