On Sept. 24 at 6:27 p.m. a Marathon City male reported that two juvenile males had been caught climbing on a South Mallard Avenue property in Marshfield without permission. The juveniles’ parents were contacted and the subjects were released with a verbal warning. Several days later, it was reported that the same two males were responsible for breaking windows on the same property. The males were spoken to and admitted to breaking four windows. The two were issued citations.

Possession of drugs
On Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m. a 43-year-old Marshfield male was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The man was pulled over for a speeding violation when a K-9 agent alerted her handler to the odor of a controlled substance coming from the vehicle. Inside, marijuana was located. The man was arrested and taken to the Marathon County Jail.
October 6, 2019
On Oct. 6 at 12:26 p.m. an employee of the Wisconsin State Fair reported witnessing two Neenah males ages 14 and 9 enter a secure area of the fairgrounds. Investigation revealed that the boys had taken a key and had used it to get into the secured area. Further investigation revealed that possible damage may have occurred due to the incident.
On Oct. 6 at 2 a.m. a Marshfield male reported that someone had broken one of his vehicle’s windows while it was parked in a parking lot on West 5th Street in Marshfield. After speaking with several witnesses, it was revealed that the male had punched and broken the window himself in a fit of rage. The man was arrested and later released.
October 7, 2019
On Oct. 7 at 10:40 a.m. a Marshfield female reported that her 3-year-old daughter had gone missing from their West 17th Street residence. Shortly after the arrival of officers, the child was located in the backyard. It is believed that the 3-year-old managed to manipulate one of the door deadbolts and exited the residence.
