MARSHFIELD – Marshfield residents have a new way to see what’s happening in city government. Communications Coordinator Tom Loucks told Marshfield Aldermen on Oct. 8 that common council meetings are now available on Facebook Live through the city’s page.
The city’s Facebook page has nearly 2,600 followers, while the new Marshfield Media Access Facebook page has 349 followers.
Loucks also said citizens can comment on what’s happening at the meetings, but that feature is disabled while the actual meeting is still taking place.
Meeting videos are still available through the City of Marshfield website, as well as channel 991 on the Charter Spectrum cable system. Loucks also noted that the Marshfield Media Access website has a guide as to what is being televised by the city on channels 989, 990, and 991.
