Marshfield volleyball falls to Merrill

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Tigers girls volleyball team took competition into Game 5, as they faced Merrill in a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup on Oct. 3 at Marshfield High School.

Merrill secured the first two games, 27-25 and 26-24, before Marshfield came back with two wins of their own, 25-16 and 25-19; but, it was Merrill that came out on top in Game 5, with a 15-12 win.

Lindsey Steffen led Marshfield in kills with 21, while Kaydee Johnson led in digs, with 22. Taylor Barwick was top in assists, with 28.
