MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield volleyball team lost 3-2 versus Wausau East in a Wisconsin Valley match up on Sept. 19 at Marshfield High School.
The teams battled it out with games of 20-25, 25-16, 22-25, 25-20, with East taking the fifth game 9-15.
Marshfield kill leaders were: Lindsey Steffen, 18; Kaydee Johnson, nine; and Taylor Barwick, eight. Bailey Matis led in assists with 19 and Taylor Barwick added 18.
Kaydee Johnson led in digs, with 27. Kati Sadowska added 21.
Marshfield next faces Chippewa Falls at home on Sept. 24.
