City to host annual walk/bike to school challenge

MARSHFIELD – The city of Marshfield will host their Safe Routes to School Program 2019 Walk/Bike to School Challenge Oct. 1-31.
Through the program, children throughout Marshfield are encouraged to walk or bike to school on International Walk to School Day. This international event will be held on Oct. 2.
Each Marshfield area school will plan a special event to encourage kids to walk or bike to school every day. A one month walk/bike to school challenge will run Oct. 1-31.
Participating students are eligible to win bike helmets, t-shirts, prizes; two grand-prize winners from each school will receive a new bike.
