Marshfield High School students attend Badger State

MARSHFIELD – Six Marshfield High School seniors attended the Badger Boys or Badger Girls State Leadership Program this summer. Students attending, included: Ariel Fernandez, daughter of Edward and Yvette Fernandez; Tyler Katzenberger, son of Scott Katzenberger and Jodi Johnson; Cole Hanson, son of Brian and Theresa Hanson; Jared Cordova, son of John and Roxanne Cordova; Drake White-Bergey, son of Leah Johnson and Troy White-Bergey; and Eben Lonsdale, son of Jacob and Lisa Lonsdale.

Both Badger State programs offer young men and women training and experience in all aspects of government and responsible citizenship as practiced in a democratic society. Both programs included nearly one thousand participants from high schools all over the state of Wisconsin. This year’s speakers included: Governor Tony Evers, Senator Tammy Baldwin, Ann Walsh Bradley, Associate Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and Charles Wiley of the Press Corps.
