PITTSVILLE – The Pittsville girls volleyball team took a loss to the Rosholt team in Rosholt on Sept. 17.
The Panthers finished with a 1-3 loss, with games of 17-25, 25-19, 23-25, and 24-26.
“We had a lot of positive strides, but we still beat ourselves. Just too many forced errors at bad times. We will continue to improve every day,” said Coach Buff Heller.
Maddie Carpenter led in kills with seven. Julia Redmond and Bekah Downs added five kills each. Helen Durrant led in aces with four. Durrant also claimed 16 assists, while Emily Carlson added five. Redmond led in digs with 13, while Josie Buchli and Downs each added eight.
The team’s next match is Sept. 19 at home versus Tri-County. They are now 0-1 in conference and 3-9 overall.
