MARSHFIELD- The popular PBS television show “Around the Corner with John McGivern” will feature the Marshfield area in an upcoming episode.

The filming crew made a stop in Marshfield to film an upcoming episode, and executive director Scott Larson from Marshfield’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry says it’s a show about what makes a place like Marshfield special.

“Around the Corner with John McGivern is a show that concentrates on showing unique kinds of things going on in different places here in Wisconsin, locations that may have a unique story,” Larson explained.

The film crew stopped at many of the spots that make Marshfield what it is, according to Larson.  “They stopped at Nasonville Dairy, Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield Furniture, Weinbrenner Shoe Company, Jurustic Park, the Kitchen Table Restaurant, and they made a visit to our Wildwood Zoo.”

The show is expected to air sometime early in 2020.
