Marshfield soccer shuts out Wausau East

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys soccer team shut out Wausau East, 4-0, in a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup on Sept. 17 at Griese Park.
Sam Roherty grabbed a goal early, at the 2:49 mark, but the final three goals came much later with Bennett Koehn, assisted by Spencer Frey, scoring at 51:24, followed by two Kyle Tremelling goals at 53:04 and 58:30.
Trevor Cassidy led Marshfield in saves, with four, while Ben Reif had 13 for Wausau East.
