MARSHFIELD – The Kaukuana Ghosts held the Marshfield Tigers to just seven points during a crossover matchup held Sept. 13 at the Ken & Ardyce Heiting Community Stadium.

Two first-half touchdown runs secured a Kaukauna lead against the Tiger football team in the East-North Valley Football Association conference crossover game.

A third touchdown run by Kaukauna’s Hank Hofmann put the score at 21-0, before the Tigers scored in the fourth quarter.

A 28-yard touchdown pass from Joey Goettl to Wyatt LeMoine, and a successful kick from Kyle Tremelling put seven on the board for Marshfield; however, Kaukauna was able to add two more touchdowns, finishing the game with a 35-7 lead.

Goettl was high in passing for Marshfield with 77 yards. Sam Hinson led in rushing at 8-51 and Wyatt LeMoine led in receiving, 3-52.

The Tigers are 1-3 overall and in conference.

Marshfield will next face Stevens Point on Sept. 20 at Goerke Field in Stevens Point.
