MARSHFIELD – Beginning Sept.16, the city will create a temporary one-way street with angled parking on East Second Street, between Maple Avenue and Cedar Avenues.  City officials say that the change is being done to gauge the need for additional parking adjacent to the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library and 2nd Street Community Center.

A survey to gauge public opinion of the one-way street and angled parking will be located in the library at the information desk and in the community center in the Marshfield Parks and Recreation office.

The temporary changes will be in place until snow season begins.

Upon completion of the temporary one-way street city staff will assemble the results of the surveys and bring a recommendation to the Board of Public Works for their consideration.

For more information, contact the Marshfield Engineering Division at 715-486-2034.
