Marshfield falls to D.C. Everest in WVC competition

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Tigers girls swim team fell to D.C. Everest in a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup on Sept. 12 at Marshfield High School.

Securing first place finishes for Marshfield were: Mataya Steinbach in the Girls 200 Yard Freestyle; the team of Kaitlin Alberts, Faith Risa, Courtney Donahue, and Skylar Onsager in the Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay; Donahue in the 100 Yard Butterfly; and Risa in the Girls 100 Yard Breaststroke.

D.C. Everest secured 112 points, while Marshfield collected 58.

Marshfield will next compete in the Rhinelander Invitational on Sept. 14, followed by a conference matchup in Stevens Point on Sept. 19.
