WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln girls tennis team defeated Marshfield, 5-2, in a Wisconsin Valley Conference matchup on Sept. 10 in Wisconsin Rapids.

Singles results were: No. 1 – Alex Zueger, WRL, over  Jebina Devadas, MAR, 6-1, 6-1; No. 2 – Rachel Bredl, WRL, over Caitlyn Christensen, MAR, 6-7 (10-3), 6-3, 6-3; No. 3 – Kelly Alekna, WRL, over Brooklyn Dillinger, MAR, 6-2, 6-3; No. 4 – Hailey McCanna, MAR, over Bella Vinter, WRL, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.

Doubles results: No. 1 – Ally Abbott/ Hannah Jarosch, WRL, over Emily Weis Lauren Weigel, MAR, 5-7, 6-4, 6-0; No. 2 – London Kubisiak/ Taylor Wentland, WRL, over Sydney Newmier/ Krupa Patel, MAR 6-3, 5-7, 6-2; No. 3 – Ana Paape/ Christina Chin, MAR, over Sophia Wardour/ Kiara Coom, WRL, 6-4, 6-1.
