Pittsville farm to host Rural Life Day

PITTSVILLE – A Pittsville area farm will be the site of an annual diocesan event designed to “highlight the uniqueness of rural life values and to rejoice in the way that rural life contributes to the Church at large.”
Otter Creek Farms, owned by the Dan & Lori Ortner and Joe & Marce Ortner families, will host “Rural Life Day” – a celebration observed by the Diocese of LaCrosse each year. This is the 39th year of the event, which will be held Sept. 13.
The celebration will include a mass with Bishop William Callahan at 10 a.m., as well as a lunch, blessing ceremony, and a tour of the farm.
Otter Creek Farms is located at 6608 County Road A, Pittsville.
