Tiger ladies tennis competes in Wausau Invite

WAUSAU – Tiger ladies tennis competed in the Wausau invite Aug. 30-31, at Wausau West High School.
Marshfield defeated Chippewa Falls, 4-3, with wins from No. 1 singles Jabine Devadas, 6-3, 7-6, 7-5 tie break; No. 4 singles Nichole Specht, 6-3, 6-4; No. 1 doubles Emily Weis and Lauren Weigel, 6-0, 6-2; and No. 3 doubles Ana Paape and Chrintina Chin, 6-1, 6-0.
The team also faced Rhinelander, Wausau East, Wausau West, and Antigo. Wins versus Rhinelander came from No. 3 doubles Ana Paape and Christina Chin, 6-2, 7-6, 7-5 tie break.
Wins against Wausau East 3 came from No. 3 singles Brooklyn Dillinger, 6-1, 0-6, 10-5 tie break and No. 3 doubles Ana Paape and Christina Chin, 6-2, 6-2.
Wins in the match against Wausau West were: No. 2 doubles Krupa Patel and Sydney Newmier, 6-4, 6-4, and No. 3 doubles Ana Paape and Christina Chin, 6-1, 6-4.
Wins versus Antigo were from: No. 1 doubles Emily Weis and Lauren Weigel, 7-5, 2-6, 10-5 tie break; No. 2 doubles Krupa Patel and Sydney Newmier, 6-3, 1-6, 12-10 tie break; and Ana Paape and Christina Chin 6-2, 6-1.
