Marshfield soccer goes 1-1-1 to start season

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield boys soccer team went 1-1-1 to start off their season, first tying Holmen on Aug. 27 at Griese Park.

On Aug. 29, in a matchup with River Falls at Griese Park, the boys walked away with a 2-0 win, with Kyle Tremelling and Brian Fay scoring in the second half.

The following night, Marshfield faced New Richmond at the new Kenneth & Ardyce Heiting Community Stadium, where they fell 3-2. Scoring for Marshfield was Sam Roherty and Spencer Frey.

The Tigers next face Stevens Point on Sept. 3 at home.
