Columbus takes home quad

MARSHFIELD – The Columbus girls volleyball team went 3-0 to win a quad tournament with Rib Lake, Loyal, and Osseo Fairchild, on Aug. 27 at Columbus Catholic High School.
Columbus beat Rib Lake, 25-15, 25-11; Loyal, 25-14, 22-25, 15-4; and Osseo-Fairchild 25-22, 25-22, to take the tournament.
Emmalee Jicinsky had 19 kills, 21 digs, and seven blocks; Jess Jakopin had 14 kills and seven blocks; Dorci Walker had 11 kills and seven aces; Sydney Litwaitis had 18 digs and five aces; and Meghan Kibbel had 56 assists and seven blocks.
