Probation contact leads to arrest
On August 22 at 7:09 a.m. it was reported that a search conducted during a probation check on a 20-year-old Marshfield male yielded cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and evidence of theft. A probation hold was placed on the male and he was transported to the Wood County Jail.
August 24, 2019
Break-in
On August 24 at 2:46 p.m. a Marshfield female reported that she had witnessed a male subject break her neighbor’s window and climb into the residence. Upon arrival, officers located a 30-year-old Stevens Point male inside. The male was arrested on charges of obstructing an officer and it was later discovered that he had an active warrant out for his arrest. The male was transported to the Wood County Jail.
August 25, 2019
Death threats over cold food
On August 25 at 6:13 p.m. an employee of a fast food franchise in Marshfield reported that a male subject had come in to complain about cold food he had received five days prior. The male used profanities and threatened to kill the employee. The male was unable to be identified.
August 26, 2019
GPS creep
On August 26 at 7:47 p.m. a Unity female reported that she had witnessed a male individual crawl underneath her vehicle while it was parked on North St. Joseph Street in Marshfield. The male was gone when officers arrived and a GPS tracking device was located underneath the vehicle. The male was found and taken into custody on charges relating to a Global Positioning Device.
