Softball Association to hold fall men’s organizational meeting

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Softball Association will hold an organizational meeting for a fall ball men’s wooden bat league at the Five-O-One Sports Bar & Grill, 501 S. Washington Ave., Marshfield, on Sept. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
The league will begin Sept. 10 for eight weeks, at Marshfield Fairgrounds Park beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Organizers say that they already have five teams and that they are keeping the league fees “as low as possible in which we will provide the wooden bats, softballs.” The teams will also umpire themselves.
