United Way board to serve as campaign chairs
For Hub City Times
MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Area United Way Board of Directors will lead this year’s campaign as drive chairs.
As drive chairs, board members will engage with United Way partners, volunteers and donors.
“This is a great opportunity to continue learning more about all of our partner programs as we grow together with our new executive director, Ashley (Winch), and our great staff, Krystal (Bowman), Cassie (Zopfi), and Ali (Luedtke), taking on new roles,” state board treasurer, Al Michalski.
“I feel we have an obligation to leave our communities a better place and caring for the most vulnerable members of our society is a critical component of that. The Marshfield Area United Way team epitomizes that mission to improve our community,” board member, Katy Zaleski added.
In 2019, Marshfield Area United Way is investing $577,000 into community programs, to ensure that all have an opportunity to achieve a quality education, which leads to a stable job and family-sustaining income through all of life’s stages, good health, and a safe home.
“It is an exciting time at United Way as we offer our neighbors a hand up from challenging situations. Together we can all play a role in improving our communities,” Michalski added.
The 2019 Marshfield Area United Way Board of Directors are: Amit Acharya – Marshfield Clinic Research Institute; Jennifer Anderson – Marshfield Clinic Research Institute; Rick Gramza – City of Marshfield Police Department; Kim Heiman – Nasonville Dairy; Sharon Helwig – Re/Max; Karen Isaacson – MACCI; Jeff Kolstad – Partners Bank; Megan Kramas – Associated Bank; Allison Machtan – Security Health Plan; Al Michalski – Felker Brothers; Mary James Mork – Community Development Authority; Jolene Sternweis – Roehl Transport; Lisa Thornton – Thornton Trucking; Amber Voelker – Dental Crafters; Jason Wilhelm – School District of Marshfield; Katy Zaleski – Simplicity Credit Union; and Holly Zopfi – Forward Bank.
