Marshfield mayor seeks utility commissioner

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield Mayor Bob McManus is seeking residents of the city of Marshfield interested in serving as a commissioner on the Marshfield Utility Commission.
The Municipal Code of the city of Marshfield provides that the five-member commission is elected by the Marshfield Common Council. Commissioners serve staggered five-year terms. The names of interested individuals will be presented to the common council at its Sept. 10 meeting. The council will elect one person at its Sept. 24 meeting.
Interested residents should submit a letter stating their qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve on the board to the Office of the Mayor, 207 W. Sixth St., Marshfield, WI, 54449, by Sept. 3
