Fraudulent checks

On August 12 at 1:12 p.m. an employee of a Marshfield transportation company reported that fraudulent checks were being cashed with the company’s information on them. Three checks had been attempted to be cashed. Only one check for $2,400 was cashed, the other two were stopped by the company’s bank. The complainant reported that the checks that were used were identical to ones that the transportation company uses for holiday bonuses and that no one was given permission to create and use them.
