I picked UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield because it wasn’t too far from home but just far enough. When I toured the campus, I instantly fell in love with it from how nice it looked to how friendly the faculty were.
What surprised you the most about UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield when you arrived on campus?
I was surprised how helpful everyone on campus was to each other. It was more of a big family than just a college with professors and students wondering around.
Why did you choose your program/major?
I chose criminal justice because I am looking into forensic science. I love the whole crime scene NCIS stuff and has been a strong interest of mine since I was a child.
In addition to being a college student, what takes up your free time?
I work at Kwik Trip in the kitchen preparing food. Besides working, I watch a lot of Netflix.

Dr. Sandra Neumann (associate professor of psychology-education) is my favorite. She is very friendly and always willing to help students, whether it with class work or to get something off your chest. She always puts students first.

I plan to continue my education and complete my bachelor’s degree at UW-Platteville.
