MARSHFIED – The Marshfield Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) will celebrate 27 years of “all things Maple” at the Annual Maple Fall Fest, Sept. 14-15, at Wildwood Park.

This event will feature over 150 vendors with original artwork, handmade arts & crafts, Amish specialties, a Maple Village, maple dessert and maple syrup judging contests, over a dozen food vendors, and a beer garden. Their annual Potato Pancake Breakfast will be served 7 a.m. – noon each day.

The weekend kicks off with the Fall Street Dance, featuring Rising Phoenix, on Friday evening on the 300 block of Central Avenue, Marshfield. There’s entertainment for the whole family at Wildwood Park on Saturday and Sunday at the Kid’s Zone, a petting zoo, Mad Dog and Merrill “Grillin’ Buddies,” and Wildwood Zoo tours.

The event also features dance performances by Main Street Conservatory of Dance, Marshfield Youth Ballet, and Central Wisconsin Line Dancers; a diverse meal and music at Central Wisconsin’s Taste and Talent at UWSP at Marshfield; a maple syrup demonstration by the Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producer’s Association, and the Marshfield Monarchs Butterfly Release on the main stage.

The Marshfield CVB uses the proceeds from the festival to support and market local tourism related events, as well as grants for local organizations that support tourism efforts in Marshfield.
