MARSHFIELD – The Chapter CY of the P.E.O. Sisterhood in Marshfield has awarded three local scholarships. Receiving Mary Hall Scholarships at $1,600 were  Kaitlin Ketring and Tammy Bieneck. These scholarships are given to non-traditional female students who have “experienced an interruption in their educations” and were augmented by monies donated on behalf of two CY sisters who passed in the last year, Kristi Huebschen and Patti Chronquist.  Additionally, a member of Chapter CY, Dori Knoff, was awarded a $1,000 grant through the P.E.O. International Program for Continuing Education.  Monies raised for these gifts come from apple pie sales, a major plant sale, and the P.E.O. Holiday Boutique.
