MARSHFIELD – Marshfield’s downtown will come alive with the sounds and tastes of New Orleans.

On July 20, at the Wenzel Plaza, Ted Hefko and The Thousandaires will perform the sounds of New Orleans, featuring jazz and folk music, 7-10 p.m.

Beginning at 5 p.m., tastes of New Orleans will be available for purchase provided by The Rivers and Mojo’s restaurants.

There will be additional entertainment, such as: face painting, poetry, and sidewalk chalk art. This is a family event and all are welcome to attend this New Orleans-inspired happening.

Ted Hefko and his group are well-known in the New Orleans area, but have traveled across the nation performing their unique New Orleans sounds. Ted has worked in New York and New Orleans for most of his musical career, but he has deep family roots in the city of Marshfield.
