MARSHFIELD – Roger Krogstad, Wildwood Animal Hospital & Clinic past owner and hospital director, has been named governor elect of the Wisconsin Upper Michigan District of Kiwanis International.

As a member of the Marshfield Kiwanis Club for over 25 years and a four-year lieutenant governor of Division 8, Krogstad has now accepted the governor elect position.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to helping children and the community.

Dr. Krogstad will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the high school Key Clubs and college level Circle K Clubs.

Krogstad will be transitioning through the governor elect position to governor to immediate past governor, with his responsibility over a three-year period.  He plans to retire to northern Wisconsin and get involved with the local Kiwanis there.
