MADISON – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has scheduled road work that will cause detours and restrictions this September.

Culvert replacement planned for Wood County will be completed on State Highway 80, between Rabbitt Lane and Ubinger Road, south of Pittsville, and State Highway 186, between Apple Road and Jefferson Road, south of Vesper

On Highway 80, drivers can expect to encounter one lane of traffic through the work zone with temporary signals, with a maximum 11-foot width restriction.

For the Highway 186 project, drivers will experience a one-day detour for culvert removal. Traffic will be detoured via State Highway 73 and County Road HH. Motorists can also expect single lane closures with flagging to complete the work.
