Late night strolls 

On June 24 at 9:24 p.m. an Arpin individual reported that on County Highway K as they drive to work every night they have been seeing subjects dressed in dark clothes and walking with a stroller. The complainant stated that they see the subjects almost every night.

 

June 22, 2019

Lost female 

On June 22 at 7 p.m. a La Crosse female reported that she was stranded somewhere near Green Grove Lane in Port Edwards. The complainant stated that she was on foot after being dropped off by a friend and had no way of getting back to her home in La Crosse.

 

Sledgehammer thrown

On June 22 at 7:17 p.m. a Nekoosa female reported that her intoxicated boyfriend had thrown a sledgehammer at the hood of her truck as she was trying to leave.

 

June 21, 2019

Car on fire 

On June 21 at 8:31 a.m. it was reported by a Rock female that someone had come into her residence on County Highway V and asked to call 911 due to a car on fire. Something had blown inside the vehicle, resulting in a fire. It was stated that the vehicle was about 200 feet off the road.

 

AWOL employee

On June 21 at 10:13 a.m. an employee of a sporting goods store in Nekoosa requested a welfare check on a fellow employee who had been at work until 2 a.m. that morning but had not shown up at home. The individual in question had not shown up back at work and was not answering their phone.

 

Male requesting jail time 

On June 21 at 8:30 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male requested to be taken to jail because he had nowhere else to go. The male was allegedly very upset and angry at the time, and the jail called and stated that the subject had a brick in his hand.

 

June 19, 2019

Stolen vehicle 

On June 19 at 1:49 p.m. a Babcock female reported a theft of a vehicle. The complainant stated that she only knew her vehicle had been stolen because she had heard her name on the police scanner. The victim further stated that someone had punched holes in the gas tank and gas had leaked all over when she tried to fill up the vehicle.
