Small Town Baseball Champions announced

MARSHFIELD – Wisconsin State Small Town Baseball Championships saw 27 teams from throughout Wisconsin participate in four divisions. The tournament was played on all four Miller Recreation Center, Marshfield, diamonds June 21-23.

Teams that qualified move on to the World Series of Small Town Baseball , which includes a number of states, in Minocqua July 19-21.

Final results for the Wisconsin State championships are: 10U co-champions – Dodgeville and Portage; 12U co-champions – Edgerton and Mosinee; 13U first – Abbotsford and second – Medford; and 14U co-champions – Medford and Freedom.

Rain cancelled the championships games in three of the four divisions.
